The Establishment Ceremony of the 2020 IKA Culinary Olympic China National Culinary Young Chef Team

March 11, the China Cuisine Association officially announced the organization of the China Culinary Team to participate in the 25th Internationale Kochkunst Ausstellung (IKA) Culinary Olympic in 2020.

June 11, the establishment ceremony of the 2020 IKA Culinary Olympic China National Culinary Young Chef Team was held in Qingdao.

At the ceremony, the China Culinary Young Chef Team formed the unit, Vice President of the China Cuisine Association - Bian Jiang, the invited Vice President and the chairman of the celebrity kitchen committee Gao Bingyi both attended the ceremony and gave a speech. Alan Orreal, the advisor of the China Culinary Young Chef Team and Chairman of the Youth Committee of the WorldChefs Federation, expressed his best wishes through a video, and wished an outstanding achievement in the 2020 World Olympic Culinary Competition (IKA).

The 2016 IKA Culinary Olympic Competition China Cuisine Association was invited the WorldChefs Association to form a 20-member China team to participate in the competition, and achieved excellent results in four silver.

It is reported that through the recommendation of many domestic catering vocational colleges and catering enterprises, after the China Cuisine Association assessment, there are currently 6 young chefs selected for the China Young Chef Team. According to the competition and related colleges and catering enterprises, some outstanding young chefs will be selected into the youth team. In February 2020, the China Culinary Team and the China Culinary Young Chef Team will jointly go to Germany to participate in the IKA Culinary Olympic Culinary.
