Today, a special healthy food nutrition class begins in hangtou
Primary School, Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Chefs
from the Shanghai Disney FB team vividly explained the important role of
healthy food for teenagers' health to nearly 100 students in the activity of
"Young Chef Nutrition workshop", and carried out interesting
experience activities, so that students could easily master the knowledge of
nutrition and health in the fun of making and tasting healthy and delicious
food by themselves.
This special presentation is also part of the celebration of
International Chef's Day on 20 October. The theme of this year's chef's Day is
"How healthy food works!". At the beginning of the activity, Ms.
Darlene, director of Food & Beverage Operation Department of Shanghai
Disneyland Resort, and Mr. Wei Pingjun, Secretary of Hangtou Primary School shared
the importance of nutritious and healthy life with the students. Later, Chef
Alan Orreal, Culinary Director of Shanghai Disneyland Resort, introduced the
history of International Chef’s Day and this year's theme to the students, and
shared his chef dream.

A variety of nutritious buffet lunch prepared by the culinary team
for the students marked a complete end to today's activity. Salad, staple food,
